You can find Vishwalok Nidhi Limited over in Gaighat, Patna. We’ve set up shop in Flat No-204 at Sita Niketan in the Bajrangpuri area. It’s an apartment building, so it feels a bit more like a home than a bank. Rajesh Kumar Rai lives here too, and we use part of the space to run the business. Since we’re on the second floor, it’s a bit quieter than being right on the street, though you can still hear the traffic from the main road. We mostly work with the families and small shop owners nearby. People come up the stairs, knock on the door, and we sit down at the dining table or the small office desk to go over their savings accounts. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We might be in the middle of a meeting when someone’s kid runs through the room, but that’s just life. We aren't trying to impress anyone with marble floors or fancy uniforms. We just want to make sure the books are balanced and that everyone’s money is handled correctly. If you need a place to save a little bit every month, we’re right here. Most of our members are friends of friends or neighbors who heard about us by word of mouth. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy and lets us help the community in our own way. We’re just regular folks doing our best to manage things here in Patna.
