Vijay General Store

Anisabad is a busy place and we are right in the middle of it on Phulwari Sharif Road. You can find us at Shambhu Complex. Most people use the SBI ATM nearby as a landmark when they are trying to explain where we are to someone else. It's Patna 800002, so it’s pretty central. We’ve been running Vijay General Store for a bit now. It’s a lot of work keeping up with what everyone needs. The road outside is always noisy with cars and bikes going past all day long. We open early because that's when people start heading out. It’s a general store, so we have all sorts of random things packed onto the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for, but we usually get there. The weather in Patna can be tough, especially the humidity, but we just stay here and keep the doors open. We know most of the people who live in the apartments around here. They stop in for small things on their way back from work. It’s not a fancy supermarket, just a local store in a big complex. We don't have a website or anything, just the shop front on Phulwari Sharif Road. We just keep doing what we do. If you need something, you just come in and ask. That's how it works here. Sometimes the stock is a bit messy, but we always have the essentials ready for whoever walks through the door.
