Tripti Books Publishers & Distributors

We have been running Tripti Books Publishers & Distributors for a long time now. Our shop is right at Samucha Ki Chauraha in Belwarganj. It’s a busy spot with plenty of noise from the street, but we’ve gotten used to it. Most days involve a lot of heavy lifting because of the book boxes coming in and going out to different shops. We handle the publishing side too, so there are always stacks of paper and proofs lying around on the desks. It isn't a fancy office by any means. We have old shelves that are a bit crowded and the fans make a bit of a clicking sound when it gets hot in the afternoon. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to see what new titles we have or to talk about printing something. We spend a lot of time on the phone with distributors or checking the stock in the back room. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough space for all the books we want to keep, but we make it work. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day. It’s just how it is when you’re dealing with physical books and paper. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment arrives, things can get a bit messy for a few days. That’s just the way the business goes here in Belwarganj.
