Suyog Egg Layer Farm Private Limited

We run the Suyog Egg Layer Farm Private Limited out of Sanjay Nagar on Road No. 8. It’s located in the Karbigahiya area of Patna and we’ve been at this for some time. Sanyukta Devi helps keep everything organized at the office which is really just a room in the house. We have birds to look after and eggs to collect every single morning without fail. If you know Patna, you know it gets crowded but we found a spot that works for us. The chickens need a lot of attention so someone is always there checking on the water and the feed. It is a lot of physical labor carrying the crates around and making sure nothing breaks. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves instead of for some big company in the city. Some days are better than others, especially when the birds are healthy and producing well. We don't use any fancy machines for most of it, just our hands and a bit of hard work. Our neighbors know us as the egg people on Road 8. It is noisy sometimes and the smell is something you just get used to after a week or so. We sell what we have and try to keep the place as clean as we can. It’s a simple life but it keeps us fed and busy. It's not always easy but it's what we know how to do best.
