Surya Roshni Ltd (Steel Division)

In Patna, the Surya Roshni Ltd steel division is located in North Patel Nagar. We are on Road No-8, right near Baba Chowk. If you know Patna, you know Baba Chowk is a pretty busy landmark. Our office and yard here stay quite active throughout the day. We handle a lot of the steel requirements for this part of Bihar. It’s a lot of coordination between the transport guys and the site workers. The road can get pretty congested, which makes things interesting when we have big loads coming in. We don't have a polished corporate environment here. It’s more of a get your hands dirty kind of place. We have a small office where we keep the ledgers and the phones, but most of the action happens outside. The team here is a hardworking bunch. We deal with the humidity and the dust without complaining too much. We don't have a big corporate sign hanging on the wall; we just know that the steel needs to get to the customers. 800024 is our pin code, and we've been part of this neighborhood for a good while. It’s a practical, no-nonsense setup. We focus on the daily grind and making sure the inventory counts are right at the end of the shift. That’s about all there is to it. We don't need things to be complicated. We just want to get the work done and go home.
