Surya General Stores

Surya General Stores is inside the Akashdeep Shoppers Plaza over in Hanumannagar, Patna. Being in a plaza means we are surrounded by other shops, but we just focus on the general items people need every day. It’s a busy place in the 800020 area. I have been here since the plaza first opened up, more or less. Patna is a very lively city and Hanumannagar is no different from the rest. The store is filled with all the small things people forget they need until they finally run out at home. We don't have a big team here, just a couple of us making sure the shelves aren't empty. It is hard to keep everything perfectly neat when people are moving things around all day long. We just do our best every single day to stay on top of it. The plaza can get very crowded on the weekends with shoppers. I usually sit by the entrance to help people find what they are looking for quickly. It is a practical shop, nothing too shiny or expensive looking. Just everyday English and everyday work for us. We keep track of things in our heads mostly. It is a long day from morning until night, but it is okay. We have got a lot of things packed into this store. People from all over Hanumannagar stop in while they are at the plaza. Just a simple general store.
