Suruchi Sweets & Restaurant

We are right on Birla Mandir Road, directly opposite the Birla Mandir itself here in Patna. It’s a famous landmark, so finding Suruchi Sweets & Restaurant isn't usually a problem for anyone. We’ve been here serving the local crowd for a long time. The place is often full of people who have just come from the temple or folks living nearby. We do sweets, of course, and then we have the restaurant side of things too. It’s a bit of a chaotic environment sometimes, with the smell of frying and the noise of customers, but that’s a restaurant for you. We don't have a polished marketing team writing our menus or descriptions. We just put out what we’ve cooked that day. The recipes are the same ones we’ve used for years. We aren't trying to be a fancy five-star place. We are just a local spot where you can get something to eat. The staff is mostly people who have lived in Patna their whole lives. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when the temple has a big festival and everyone comes in at once, but we do our best. We don't have a mission statement or a big philosophy. We just want to keep the kitchen running and make sure the sweets are fresh. If you’re in the area, you’ll see us right across from the temple gates.
