Subodh Goel And Co. is situated in Rani Plaza on Exhibition Road. We are up on the second floor in suite 202. Exhibition Road is always packed with people and traffic, so there is a lot of energy right outside our door. The building is a typical commercial plaza with many different types of offices. Our space is very functional and straightforward. We have desks, chairs, and many cabinets for all the paperwork we handle. It isn't a fancy corporate office with modern art or anything like that. We prefer a more practical environment. We have been at this location for many years, so we are quite used to the sounds of the city coming through the windows. The elevator in Rani Plaza usually works fine, but sometimes taking the stairs is just faster. We don't have a formal greeting process. When someone comes in, we just stop what we are doing and talk to them. It’s a very direct way of working. Most of our day is spent looking over documents and making phone calls. We often get tea from the local vendor downstairs, which is a nice break. Patna is a busy place, and being on Exhibition Road puts us right in the middle of it all. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or decorating. We just keep our heads down and make sure the work gets done correctly. It’s a simple routine that has worked for us for a long time.
