Subham General And Kirana Store

My name is Ajay and I have been running Subham General And Kirana Store here in Patna for quite some time now. We are tucked away at 147, Shree Krishna Nagar, right in the middle of where people live and walk every day. It is not a fancy place, just a simple room with shelves full of what you need for your kitchen. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we try to keep things tidy enough for the customers. Most of our days go by chatting with neighbors who come in for a kilo of sugar or some tea leaves. I usually open the shutters early in the morning when the milk arrives. It is a quiet life, mostly spent dealing with bills and checking what is running low on the racks. People around here know us well, so they just stop by without much fuss. We don't have big signs or anything, just the usual local shop stuff. Some days it is busy, and other days I just sit and watch the traffic go by on the street. I think being here in Patna for so many years makes us part of the neighborhood. We just sell the basics, no big talk. If we don't have something, I tell them to wait a day while I get it from the main market. It is just me and a couple of helpers trying to keep the place going.
