Subhagami Real Estate is run out of Patliputra in Patna. We are at House Number 311 in P.P. Colony, which is a pretty well-known spot if you live in the city. Akhaury Ajit Kumar is the name on the door. Our office is basically just a room with some files and a couple of phones that don't stop ringing. Patliputra is a busy place, and there’s always something happening with property deals. We don't try to make things sound better than they are. If a house has a leaky roof or the road is narrow, we just say so. It saves everyone time in the long run. We’ve been around this neighborhood for quite a while, seeing the new buildings go up where there used to be empty lots. Most of our work is just keeping track of who is selling and who is looking. It’s a lot of paperwork and trips to the registrar’s office, which is always a bit of a headache. We don't have a big team of experts, just a few of us who know the local area and the people. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up a contract, but mostly we try to get home before the traffic gets too bad. It’s just a regular local business trying to make a living in Patna.
