We are located in L.B.S Nagar here in Patna. Our shop is right near the Girls High School, so we get a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. In the mornings, you can see all the students walking by and parents dropping them off. It makes the area feel very lively. Our shop is a bit small but it has everything tucked away in corners and high up on shelves. We carry the usual things like notebooks, pens, and snacks which the kids like, but also the regular kitchen items for the families living around Lal Bahadur Shastri Nagar. Patna can be quite crowded and our street is no different. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place organized because things get messy quickly when it’s busy. There is a lot of dust from the road so we are always wiping down the glass jars where we keep the loose sweets and biscuits. We don't have any big team of workers, it is just us behind the counter. We know most of our customers by name and they know us. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it is quiet and just watch the traffic go by. It’s a simple life running a store like this. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just open the doors, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer of the day. It’s just how we live here.
