Smiit Maths Centre

Smiit Maths Centre is tucked away in Rose Bud Lane in North S.K. Puri. This is right in the Boring Road area of Patna, which everyone knows is always packed with people. We are located directly opposite A.N. College, which makes it very convenient for the older students to just walk across after their lectures are done. The lane itself is a bit quieter than the main road, which we appreciate. Our centre is basically a couple of rooms in an older house. We’ve kept it very simple. There are long tables where students can sit together and work on their math problems. We have a big white board that is almost always covered in equations. The office part is just a small corner with a table and two chairs where we talk to parents. We have a lot of old books stacked up against the wall because we hate throwing any useful material away. The ceiling fans make a bit of a whirring noise, but they are essential during the Patna summers. There is a small porch at the front where students wait if they arrive early. We don't have any fancy marketing or a big team. It’s just a place where we do math every day. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids play in the lane outside, and you can hear them while we work. We usually lock up around eight o'clock at night after the last batch finishes.
