Shyama Power (India) Limited

Our office is in Patna, specifically in North Shastri Nagar. We are on the first floor of Tara Tower, in Flat No.-106. Being in an apartment building for an office is actually quite nice because it feels a bit more like a home than a cold business space. The area around 800023 is usually busy with people going to work or the market. We do power and infrastructure work from here. The climb up to the first floor isn't too bad, though we wish the elevator worked better sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly desks covered in technical charts and some folders for the different projects we have going on across Bihar. Patna has its own pace, and things can get a bit hectic during the monsoon when the roads get messy. We don't have any big corporate signs or a fancy lobby. It’s just a door with our name on it. We spend our days dealing with vendors, checking on electrical parts, and making sure the teams on the sites have what they need. There is usually a pot of tea going in the small kitchen area. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just about getting the power lines sorted and the projects finished on time. The windows look out over the street, so we see the daily life of Shastri Nagar while we work. It’s a decent place to be based and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors in the tower quite well.
