You can find Shrivastav Rang Udyog Pvt. Ltd. down in the older part of the city near Sita Asthan. We are located at Janki Ghat in the Bakshi Mohalla area, which is under the Khajekala police station. The streets around here are quite narrow and full of history, winding their way toward the river. Our building is an old-style structure that has seen a lot of years and a lot of different weather. We work with colors and dyes, so the drains and the doorstep often have a bit of a tint to them from the pigments. It is a busy neighborhood with people constantly moving through the lanes to get to the ghats or the local temples nearby. The air has a mix of smells, from the river breeze to the chemicals we use in our daily processing. We don't have much room for big machinery, so a lot of the work is done by hand or with smaller tools that we've used for a long time. The walls of our unit are thick and keep things somewhat cool even when the sun is beating down on the rooftops. We've been part of this mohalla for a long time, and the neighbors are all familiar with the sounds of our work. It’s not a modern factory with glass windows, but a traditional workplace where the routine hasn't changed much over the decades. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders.
