Shree Syam Store

We are located in the Laxmi Palace Market which is in the New Chitr Gupat Nagar area of Kankarbagh. Patna is a big place and Kankarbagh is one of those neighborhoods where something is always happening. Our store is a small one and we mostly keep general household items that people use every day. We have been here for a few years now. It is just a basic shop with a counter and some racks for the goods. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or lights. We just want to provide the things people need without making it complicated. Some days the market is very quiet and we just sit outside on a stool and talk to the other shop owners nearby. We all know each other well. When the festival season comes the whole market gets decorated and it becomes very busy. That is when we have to work the hardest. Otherwise it is a slow and steady pace. We open up in the morning after we have our tea and we stay until the sun goes down and the street lights come on. It is not a corporate business with a lot of rules. We just treat people fairly and hope they come back. Sometimes the inventory gets a little mixed up but we always figure it out in the end. It is just a small local store trying to get by in the city.
