Shandar Paints Industry

Shandar Paints Industry is located in Khusrupur, Patna, right near the S.B.I. and the cloth merchant shop owned by Suresh Chandra Bhanu Gupta. It’s a busy little spot. We spend our days around buckets and barrels of different colors. Making paint is a messy business, to be honest. There is always a smell of chemicals and pigments in the air. We aren't some giant factory with robots; it’s mostly just us mixing things and making sure the batches come out right. Patna gets dusty, so we try to keep the shop as clean as we can, but it’s a losing battle most days. People come in looking for specific shades for their homes or shops. We just show them what we have on the shelves. Sometimes we run out of a certain base and have to wait for the next delivery to come in. It’s just the way a small industry runs. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. It's just a local place where we work with our hands and try to get the colors to look decent. The location near the bank makes it easy for people to find us, even if the streets get a bit crowded. We’ve been here in Khusrupur doing this for a while now, just mixing paint and helping people pick out what they need for their walls. It is simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning till evening every day.
