Sanju Genral Store

Our store is situated on Ramna Road in Bankipur, Patna. We are quite close to the Pirbahor Thana, which makes it a very easy place to find. It’s a small family-run business. We mostly sell everyday items that people in the neighborhood need. You can find things like snacks, cold drinks, and basic groceries here. My name is Sanju and I spend most of my day at the shop. The area is always buzzing with activity because of the nearby police station and other offices. We get a lot of people stopping by for a quick break. The shop is small and sometimes feels a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. But we manage to fit everything on the shelves. I try to stock what the locals ask for. If someone wants a specific brand of tea, I’ll try to get it for them next time I go to the wholesaler. It’s a simple life. I open the shop early and usually stay until quite late. The street lighting isn't great at night, but our shop light stays on. We don't do any big advertising or have a social media page. Word of mouth is how most people find us. It’s just a regular shop on a busy Patna street. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but we just put up a plastic sheet and keep going. That is how it is for us every single day.
