Sanjay General Store & Flower Decorater

Sanjay General Store & Flower Decorater is located on Kankarbagh Main Road in Patna. We are right near the Apollo Burn Hospital, which is a big landmark around here. I have been running this place for many years now and it’s a bit of a mix. On one hand, we have the general store part where we sell everyday things like soap, snacks, and small household items. Then there is the flower decoration side of the business. My family and I handle all kinds of floral work for weddings and local functions. It gets quite busy during the marriage season. We usually have piles of marigolds and roses sitting around. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a regular local spot. I spend most of my day sitting at the counter or out on a job site for a decoration. Kankarbagh is a crowded area, so there is always noise from the traffic outside. People from the hospital often come in for quick supplies. We keep our prices normal and don't try to overcomplicate things. Sometimes we run out of stock when the delivery trucks are late, but we manage. It’s just a small family business and we like being part of the neighborhood. We know most of the people who walk past our door. I started this a long time ago and I plan to keep it going just as it is. It’s hard work but it’s our life.
