Rupshree Kirana & General Store

This shop, Rupshree Kirana & General Store, is located on Kanti Factory Road in the Kankarbagh area of Patna. We have been here for a good number of years now, serving the families who live around this part of town. It started out small, just a few bags of rice and some basic spices, but we eventually added more general items because people kept asking for them. Now we carry everything from soaps to snacks and the usual kitchen staples. The road outside can get pretty dusty and noisy with all the traffic, but inside we try to keep things organized so you can find your stuff quickly. I usually sit at the counter while my younger brother handles the stock and the heavy lifting. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights, just a honest local store for the neighborhood. Sometimes the kids from the nearby houses come in for sweets after school, which keeps the place lively. We try to keep our prices fair because we know everyone in the community is just trying to get by. If something isn't in stock, we tell you straight away instead of making you wait. It is a simple life running a grocery store in Patna, and we are quite content with how things are going here on Kanti Factory Road.
