We are located up on the fourth floor, room 402, of the Basudham Building. It’s in the Pirmohani area of Kadamkuan in Patna. Everyone around here knows the old Uma Cinema Hall, and we are quite close to that. Being on the fourth floor gives us a bit of a view of the rooftops in the neighborhood, which is nice when you need a break from looking at the screen. The building is a typical Patna structure, a bit older but solid. The stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is being moody that day. Inside, we keep things pretty basic. It’s mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of folders. We aren't big on decorations or fancy office furniture. It’s a functional space where we get our daily tasks done. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and people heading toward the market or the hall. Kadamkuan has a lot of history, and you can feel that in the narrow lanes and the way the buildings are tucked together. We have a small pantry area where we make our own coffee and tea. It’s a quiet office for the most part, except for the occasional honking from the street below. We’ve been here for a while and the people in the building are like a little community. We just show up in the morning, do our work, and head out when the day is done. It is a simple life and we like it.
