Raj General Store

You can find Raj General Store over on Phulwari Sharif Road in Anisabad. We’re pretty close to the Khadim showroom and the Anisabad Golambar, so there are always people moving around outside. The store is packed with all the usual things people need, like soap, biscuits, notebooks, and different kinds of pulses. We try to keep things organized, but sometimes the shelves get a bit cluttered when a new shipment arrives. It’s just a small family-run place where we know many of our customers by name because they live just down the street or in the next lane. We open up early and stay open until fairly late at night to make sure people can grab whatever they forgot to buy during the day. Sometimes the light in the back flickers, and the billing counter is a bit worn down from years of use, but it works fine for us. We spend a lot of time counting items and talking to the delivery guys who bring the crates of sodas or snacks. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for the next person to come in, then a sudden rush in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright lights. It’s just a regular shop for regular daily things. We like being part of the neighborhood here in Patna and just try to keep the basics in stock for everyone who lives around here and needs something.
