If you are looking for us, we are out in Bakhtiyarpur, right on the New Byepass Road. The place is called Shakuntla Nivas, and it’s the home of Dr. R.P. Singh’s family. We work from here because it’s where we are based and it’s easier than renting some expensive office in Patna city. Being a contractor means we are often out at sites or traveling around the district, but this house in Raghopur is our home base. It’s a busy household with people coming and going all the time. There is always tea on the stove and someone talking about a project or a delivery. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big marketing team. Most of our work comes from people who know us or have seen us working on the road. We’ve been doing this for a long time and we know the local area like the back of our hand. The Byepass Road is always noisy with trucks and buses, but inside Shakuntla Nivas, we just focus on the plans and the numbers. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we take care of the details ourselves. We don't pretend to be some huge international company. We are just local people in Bihar doing contracting work for the community. When you come by, you’ll probably see some construction gear in the yard and someone working at a wooden desk inside.
