Push Green Foundation

We started the Push Green Foundation here in Prabhunathnagar, Dahiyawan, which is in the Saran district. Our office is located at Harendra Kumar Sinha’s place. It’s a quiet enough neighborhood and we like it that way. We are basically a small group of people who want to see more green spaces around here. Most of our time is spent outside or meeting with local folks. We don't have a big budget for marketing or anything like that. We just do what we can with what we have. Sometimes we are planting trees and other times we are just cleaning up a local spot. The office is just a room with some files and a few tools kept in the corner. It isn't very fancy, but it works for us. We aren't professionals in suits. We are just people who live here and care about the town. You can usually find one of us around if you have questions or want to help out. We don't have any grand plans to be famous or start a big movement. We just want the air to be a bit cleaner and the streets to look a bit better for the kids. It takes a lot of effort to get people involved but we keep trying because it matters to us. Every little bit helps and we are happy to do the work ourselves. Sometimes we are tired at the end of the day, but seeing a new tree grow makes it worth it.
