Purbanchal Cement Ltd.

This branch of Purbanchal Cement is based in Patna, specifically in the New Alkapuri area. It’s a bit different from our other locations, but the daily work is mostly the same. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting people who need supplies for their building projects. Patna is a fast-growing city, so there’s always something happening around New Alkapuri. Our office is a simple place where we manage the local distribution. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just a spot to handle the orders and keep the paperwork in line. The neighborhood is fairly busy, and we’ve gotten to know the other business owners nearby. We don’t use any fancy language to describe what we do. We sell cement. It’s heavy, it’s messy, and it’s necessary for everything people are trying to build. We try to be reliable and just do what we say we will. Some days are longer than others, especially when the shipments are coming in from the plant. We don't have a dedicated marketing team or anything like that; we just rely on being around and doing the work. It’s a small team here in Patna, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or checking the stock. We just keep things moving along as best as we can every day.
