Punjab Hardware Store

Punjab Hardware Store is located in Ward No-66 on Jhauganj Road. We are quite close to the Arya Samaj Mandir, which is a big landmark in this part of town. The shop is full of all sorts of things, from nails and screws to bigger tools and pipes. It’s a bit cramped because we try to keep everything anyone might ask for in stock. You have to watch your step so you don’t trip over a bucket or a coil of wire. I’ve been working here for years, and I know where almost everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. People from the neighborhood come in for all their repair needs. Sometimes they don't even know the name of the part they need, so they try to describe it with their hands. We usually figure it out eventually. Jhauganj Road is always loud with scooters and people walking by. It’s a lively place to have a business. We don't do any big advertising. People just know we are the hardware shop near the Mandir. My son helps me out in the afternoons after his classes. It’s a family thing, really. We just keep the doors open and try to be helpful to whoever walks in with a broken faucet or a project. We have seen kids grow up and come back as adults to buy stuff for their own homes.
