Our shop is right on Khagaul Road in Mithapur, Patna, situated at the Bhargo Saw Mill. It is a very busy part of the city, and the sounds of the road are always there in the background. If you are looking for us, the saw mill is the main landmark. It’s a dusty place, to be honest, but that is the nature of the work we do. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age. The roof leaks a tiny bit when the monsoon rains are really heavy, so we have to move some boxes around then. We don't have air conditioning or fancy tiled floors. It is mostly wood, concrete, and a lot of hard work. There’s a tea shop across the road where we get our morning fix. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get things done. It’s a straightforward environment. We handle things as they come. The office part is just a small room with a heavy wooden desk and some old ledgers. It gets hot during the summer months, and we use a big pedestal fan to keep cool. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. It’s about the work we put in. People come by, we talk shop, and we finish our tasks. That’s the daily routine here in Mithapur, and it suits us just fine to keep things basic and honest while we work through our list.
