Patna Ayurvedia Pharmacy Private Limited

Our little pharmacy, Patna Ayurvedia Pharmacy Private Limited, is tucked away on Khatri Path in the Hamam area of Patna Sadar. We are located at the residence of Smt Geeta Kumari and Sri Prakash Kumar. It’s a busy part of Patna, as anyone who lives here can tell you. The streets are narrow and there is always someone walking by or a rickshaw bell ringing. We started this because we wanted to do something useful in our own neighborhood. The building is an old one but it has a lot of character. We spend most of our time organizing the stocks and talking to people who drop by. It is not a shiny, modern medical store with glass walls. It feels more like a home because, well, it is one. Usually, someone is making tea in the back and the smell of it mixes with the various scents of the herbs and things we have around. Patna Sadar has its own pace and we just fit into it. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out, chatting. We don’t have fancy uniforms or big signs. It is just us doing what we know how to do. The walk down Khatri Path in the mornings is usually how the day starts, seeing the same faces every time. It’s a simple life and the work is steady enough. We close up in the evenings when the street lights come on and the crowds start to thin out.
