Vadati Arts

Our little spot for Vadati Arts is located on Church Road, right near the Kedar Kunj Apartment in New Patliputra Colony. It is a nice part of town, and we’ve been here long enough to know the neighbors. We mostly do art stuff, whether it’s making things or helping others with their projects. The studio is usually a mess of brushes, paint jars, and scraps of paper. We don't really mind the clutter because that is how things get made. It’s not a polished gallery where you’re afraid to touch anything. People come in and we show them what we are working on. Some days are slow and we just sketch for hours, while other days are a bit more hectic with orders to finish. We use Road No. 1 as a landmark when people call to find us. The light in the afternoons is pretty good for working. We don't follow a strict corporate schedule; we just come in and start on whatever needs doing. It’s a quiet life for the most part. We like the creative side of it and the fact that we can just be ourselves here. No suits or ties, just old clothes that we don't mind getting paint on. It’s a real place for real work, and we are happy with that. The curtains are a bit faded from the sun, but they keep the room cool. Sometimes people just stop by to chat about art and don't buy anything.
