Our business, Parvatishankar Agro Food Processing, is located at Plot No-16 on Polo Road. It’s in Kaushal Nagar, within the New Capital area of Phulwari Patna. The son of Sri Jagnath Ram started this because we wanted to get into the agro-processing side of things. It’s a busy plot of land. We have various machines for processing food and a lot of space for storing what we produce. Polo Road is usually quite noisy with traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll likely see someone covered in flour or moving heavy sacks around. That’s just the nature of agro-food work. It’s a bit messy and it involves a lot of manual labor. We try to keep our equipment in good shape, though things break down every once in a while. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want to process the food correctly and get it out to the people who need it. The Bihar sun can be quite harsh on the workers, so we try to get the heavy stuff done early in the morning. It’s an honest living and we are proud of the work we do here. It’s just a local agro-processing plant in Patna. We keep the machines running and the floors swept as best we can.
