Our office for Om Construction & Development Pvt. Ltd is in Patna. Specifically, we are over in Mohanpur Punaichak, right near the pump house and the old kutti machine. If you are from around here, you know exactly where that is. It’s a busy part of town. My father, Pramod Kumar, started this whole thing, and we’ve just kept it running from this same spot. The office is always a bit messy with rolls of paper and samples of tiles or paint. It feels more like a home than a business sometimes. We have the Pvt. Ltd tag on our name now, but we still operate like a local shop. Punaichak is a crowded area, so getting materials delivered to the site can be a real pain with the narrow lanes. We spend a lot of time on the phone arguing with suppliers or checking on the masonry crew. Construction in Patna is never boring because there is always some new regulation or a delay with the electricity. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. People just find us by walking into the office or calling my mobile. It’s honest, hard work. We mostly focus on building houses and apartments for families in this area. It takes a lot of patience to get things right, but we’ve been doing it long enough to not get stressed out by the small stuff anymore. We just keep building.
