Ojas Clinic

Ojas Clinic is located at MIG-225 in Lohia Nagar, which is part of the Kankarbagh area. Being in an MIG house means it’s right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. You’ll see kids playing outside and neighbors talking over the fences while you walk to our door. It’s a very grounded, local setting. The clinic itself is on the ground floor, so it’s easy to get into. We have a small waiting area that usually has some old magazines and a few plastic chairs for people to sit on. The rooms are quite small, but we’ve managed to fit in everything we need to do our work. There’s a certain rhythm to the day in Lohia Nagar, with the vegetable vendors coming by in the morning and the street getting quiet during the hot afternoons. We have been here for a while, and the walls have a few scuffs from the years of use. We don’t bother with repainting every month or putting up flashy posters. The lighting is just standard bulbs that give off a warm glow. We know most of the families around here by name. It’s a simple setup where we keep our records in big physical files and write out notes by hand. Working in Kankarbagh feels like being part of a big family, and the clinic is just our small contribution to the neighborhood's daily life.
