North-East Orthopaedic & Trauma Hospital sits right at the corner of Khazanchi Road More, along Ashok Rajpath. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always the sound of horns and engines outside. We deal with a lot of bone issues and people who have been in accidents. Trauma work isn't always easy, and it can get pretty stressful when several patients arrive at once. The building at Ashok Rajpath has been here for a good while. It feels like a part of the neighborhood now. We have surgeons and nurses who have seen just about everything. We don't have any polished corporate statements to give out. We just know that when someone comes in with a broken leg or a bad injury, they want it fixed. The rooms are plain and we keep the floors clean, and that’s about the extent of our decorating. Khazanchi Road More is a landmark for most people around here, so we are easy to find. Working in trauma means you never really know what the next hour will bring. It keeps us on our toes. We just try to do an honest day’s work and help the people who walk through our doors. It’s a practical place for practical problems. Ashok Rajpath is never quiet, and neither are we, really. There’s always something that needs doing or someone who needs checking on.
