Nand Kala

Nand Kala is tucked away in the Machhuatoli area, specifically in Nayatola here in Patna. We are quite close to the Arya Samaj Kendra, which is a big landmark that most people around here use to find us. Our address is 800004. It’s a regular neighborhood with narrow streets and lots of small shops lined up next to each other. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. The shop isn’t very big, and we have things stacked up on shelves wherever they will fit. It might look a bit cluttered to someone who isn't used to it, but we know exactly where everything is. We spend our days talking to the people who live nearby. Many of our customers are people we have known for years. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy philosophy about what we do. We just open the doors in the morning, sweep the front, and start our work. Sometimes the weather in Patna gets really hot and we just sit under the fan and wait for the evening when it cools down a bit. It’s a simple way to make a living. We don't do any big promotions or ads in the paper. If you need us, you just come down to Nayatola and look for the sign near the Kendra. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done.
