Medicare Clinic

This Medicare Clinic is based in the Nalanda district. It is a modest building that sits in a fairly open area. We serve a lot of people from the surrounding parts of Nalanda who need basic medical attention. It’s not like the big city clinics with glass walls and uniforms. Here, things are much more casual. The staff usually wears regular clothes or simple aprons. We have a couple of rooms for examinations and a small area where we keep the essential medicines. It can get quite dusty during the dry season, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and the desks. We don't have a high-speed internet connection or anything like that, so we keep all our records in physical files. It’s a bit slower, but it’s what we’re used to. People often come in just to ask a question or get their blood pressure checked. We know most of the families in this part of the district. The clinic has a porch where people sit and talk while they wait for the doctor to arrive. Sometimes he is delayed if he’s visiting a patient at their home. It’s a simple life here in Nalanda. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one that's a bit faded from the sun. We are just here to provide what help we can to the local folks. It is a practical, no-frills place that stays busy throughout the week.
