If you are heading toward the Anisabad Post Office, you will find us right near Beur Jail. It’s a landmark everyone around here knows, so we don’t usually have to give much more direction than that. Our shop is where we handle all the motor-related work that comes our way. It’s a busy spot with cars and bikes always parked out front or waiting for their turn. The air usually smells like grease and petrol, which is something you just get used to after a few days of working here. We have a few mechanics who have been with us for a long time and they can figure out a problem just by listening to the engine. We aren’t one of those big fancy showrooms with glass walls and free coffee. We’re a grease-under-the-fingernails kind of place. Most of our customers come from the local neighborhood or they’re people passing through who had some trouble with their vehicle. We just give it to them straight about what needs fixing and what can wait. It gets pretty loud with the tools running, especially in the afternoons when everyone is trying to finish up. We don't use any complicated systems to track things, just a big ledger where we write down the jobs. We just show up every day, do the repairs, and try to make sure people can get back on the road safely.
