Mamta Store

Mamta Store is located on D.N Singh Road, right in the Sakhichand Katra area of Ward No. 38. We are quite close to Variety Chowk, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. I keep the store open from early morning until late at night to make sure everyone can get their supplies. It is a busy neighborhood and we try to stock a bit of everything that a household might need. From cooking oils to cleaning soaps, we have it all tucked away somewhere in the shop. Sometimes it takes me a minute to find a specific item because we have so much packed in, but we usually get there. The building is an older one, so the walls have some character and the floor is a bit uneven. Customers often stop by just to chat for a minute while they pick up their milk or bread. It feels like a small community even though the road outside is so noisy with rickshaws and cars. I do all the ordering myself, making sure we don't run out of the basics. It's a lot of work to keep the inventory straight without any fancy systems. My wife helps me keep the books in the evening after we close the shutters. We are just a local family running a local shop. It’s not a big corporate store, just a place where we know our customers' names and what they usually need.
