Magadh X Ray Clinic

Magadh X Ray Clinic. We are tucked away in Guzri Bazar, right near the City Hospital. It’s a very old part of town. The streets are narrow and always full of people buying things. Our clinic is small, mostly taken up by the big X-ray machines. Those machines take up a lot of space and make a loud clicking sound when they work. We spend a lot of time in the darkroom or looking at films. It’s a bit of a dim place because we have to keep the light out for the processing. The walls are thick, which is good for the radiation but also makes it a bit cool inside. We see a lot of people who were sent over from the City Hospital just a few steps away. They come in with their slips of paper and wait on the plastic chairs. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just the required safety signs. Sometimes the smell of the chemicals is a bit strong. We’ve got a small desk at the front where we write down the names. It’s not a fancy diagnostic center with glass walls. It’s just a small shop in Guzri Bazar where we take pictures of bones. We’ve been doing this for years, and we know our way around the equipment. It’s honest work. We keep a small window open at the back for some fresh air. People usually find us by the big blue door and the sound of the bazaar outside.
