This part of Digha is very busy because it sits right on the main road, so there is a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks and buses. We do a mix of real estate work and some construction stuff as well. Our office is usually filled with some blueprints or maybe some samples of bricks and tiles. It’s a practical workspace, not a place meant for showing off. We spend a lot of our time out on sites, seeing how the building work is going or checking out new land that might be for sale. Digha is an area that is changing a lot, so there is always something new to look at. We don’t really have a big staff, just a few local guys who know how to get things done. Most of our days are spent dealing with contractors or talking to people about their housing needs. It’s hard work and the sun can be quite brutal when we are out on the road, but we just get on with it. We are just a local team trying to keep the business running in this part of Patna.
