Maa Durga General Store

Maa Durga General Store is located in the New Patliputra Colony area of Patna, specifically on Boring Road. Most people find us by looking for the Pani Tanki, as we are quite close to that landmark. Boring Road is always moving, with students and office workers rushing around all day long. Our store is a small part of that daily rush. We spend a lot of our time making sure the daily essentials like milk and bread are ready every morning before the sun gets too high. It is not a very large space, so things can get a bit tight when more than three people are inside at once. We have a lot of regulars who stop by for their daily groceries or just to pick up a cold drink when it gets dusty outside. To be honest, the shelves are always a bit of a work in progress because something is always running out. We don't have a big marketing strategy or anything like that. We just try to stay open late enough for the people who finish work after dark. Patna is a busy place, and we are just trying to keep up with the demand for basic household items. Sometimes we run out of change or the electricity goes out, but we just keep the doors open and do the best we can. It is a simple shop for anyone living around the colony.
