Larsen Toubro Limited At Ntpc, Coal Handling Plant.

Our group works out of Bokaro Steel City in Jharkhand. We are based at Quarter No.2499 in Sector Vi/D, which is quite close to where the action is. We are specifically involved with the Larsen Toubro Limited team at the NTPC coal handling plant. Being in a steel city like Bokaro means everything feels very industrial and hardworking. Our office is actually a residential quarter that we have converted into a workspace. It is very basic with just the essential furniture and equipment we need to track the plant operations. You won’t find any fancy corporate lobby here. We spend a lot of time at the coal handling plant itself, making sure the machinery and the systems are doing what they are supposed to. It can be a very dirty and loud environment, but that is just the nature of working with coal and power plants. The weather here in Jharkhand can be pretty extreme, but the work doesn't stop for it. We have a solid crew of local workers who know their way around the plant and the sector. We don't use any high-level marketing language because we are just the people on the ground getting the work done. Most of our day is spent looking at schedules and making sure the coal is moving through the plant correctly. It is a tough but honest way to earn a living in this part of the country.
