Laferge Aggregates & Concrete

You can find our site over on Khagol Road, right near Danpur Cantt and Snt. Karan School. It is a loud area with all the school buses and the military traffic going by all day long. We have the aggregates and the concrete setup right here on a big lot with mountains of stone and sand sitting around. The dust gets everywhere, even inside the little cabin we use for an office. We spend most of our time out in the yard, checking the loads or talking to the drivers. Sometimes the school traffic makes it hard for our big trucks to turn in, so we have to time our deliveries just right. It is a lot of waiting around for the next batch of material to be ready. The guys who work here have been around for years, and we all know the daily routine. We do not bother with fancy uniforms or having big meetings. We just get the work done. The weather dictates a lot of what we do; if it is too hot, we are all dragging, and if it pours, everything turns to soup in the yard. We just deal with those problems as they come up. It is a simple setup on the edge of the cantonment. We see the kids going to school in the morning and we are usually still here when they head home. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood for us.
