K Singh Chemistry Classes is tucked away in Post Off Lane in Nayatola. It is right opposite P N Anglo School, which is a big landmark around here. Nayatola is famous for being a hub for students in Patna, so there are always young people walking around with backpacks. Our place is not very big. It’s basically just a dedicated space for chemistry. We have some charts on the walls showing the periodic table and some chemical reactions, but they’re a bit old now. The lane is quite narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re coming on a bike. Most of the time, the air is filled with the sound of students chatting or teachers explaining things from the next building over. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while. The desks are a bit scratched up from years of use, but they still hold up fine. We spend our days going through textbooks and explaining equations on the board. It’s a very specific kind of environment. We don't really do anything other than chemistry here. It’s what we know. The office is just a small table in the corner where we keep the registers. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the afternoons, but that’s just how Patna is. We just turn on the fans and keep talking about atoms and molecules. It’s a very practical, no-frills kind of place for anyone who needs help with the subject.
