Jai Matadi Store

You can find us right on Panchshiv Mandir Road in Kankarbagh. We are actually directly opposite the Panch Shive Mandir, which makes it very easy to explain to people where we are. In Patna, Kankarbagh is a big area, but this particular street has its own feeling because of the temple. Jai Matadi Store has been here for a good while. We see a lot of people coming by after they finish their prayers. The mornings are usually the busiest when everyone is out getting their supplies for the day. Our shop is tucked into the ground floor of the building. It is a bit small, and we have things stacked up pretty high to make use of the space. It is a bit of a squeeze sometimes if too many people come in at once. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We just focus on the daily routine of opening up, checking the stock, and talking to the regulars. The noise from the bells at the temple and the cars on the road is just the background music to our lives here. It is a simple, honest way to spend the day. We are just a local store doing our thing in Patna, nothing more and nothing less. We keep things pretty straightforward and don't worry about the small stuff too much.
