Jai Mata Di Kirana

Jai Mata Di Kirana is located in the Chaval Bazar area of Mirphatatti. We are specifically at the spot known as Shree Mukund Lal Prasad. This is a traditional kirana store, so we sell all the daily essentials people need for their homes. The Chaval Bazar is always crowded, especially in the mornings when everyone is out shopping for their food. We have bags of rice, pulses, and other grains stacked up high. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to keep everything in stock, but we know where everything is. My family has been doing this for a long time. We don't have any fancy scanners or automated systems. We do most of the counting and weighing by hand. Customers come in and we chat about the local news while we pack their bags. It feels more like a community hub than just a shop. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when several people want things at once, but we manage. We aren't looking to expand into a big supermarket. We like being right here in Mirphatatti where we know our neighbors. The shop is simple, dusty sometimes, and full of different smells from all the grains. We just stay open late to make sure everyone gets what they need for dinner. It's just a basic shop where we try to treat everyone fairly and keep the shelves full.
