Jai Kishore Store

Jai Kishore Store is located right in the heart of Patna, specifically in the Kidwaipuri area near Boring Road. We are situated close to the Income Tax office, so it’s a place many people pass by every single day. We run this general store with a focus on just having what people need when they need it. It’s a small space, and we have bags of various grains stacked up in the corners. We spend our time checking the inventory and talking to the people from around the neighborhood who stop in for their weekly supplies. Boring Road is always full of energy, and we are just one of the many small businesses trying to keep things going. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. If we have the item, we sell it, and if we don't, we tell you when it might arrive. It’s a very manual process here. We handle the cash, the weighing, and the packing ourselves. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. It is just a regular life in Patna for us. We open the doors early and stay until the evening traffic dies down. Most of our customers are like friends now because we see them so often. We don't have a big mission statement, we just try to be a useful part of the street here in Kidwaipuri. It works for everyone involved.
