Our place is called Das Kutir, and it is located in Lohanipur East. We are right in the Kadamkuan area of Patna. It is an old neighborhood and we have been a part of this community for some time now. We do interior decoration work for local homes. Our office is not very big, but it is the place where all the planning happens. You will see plenty of catalogs and color charts scattered around the tables. We spend a lot of time on the phone with different vendors and suppliers. Kadamkuan is usually very crowded, so getting materials delivered can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. We just deal with it as it comes. We handle residential jobs mostly. People come in asking about things like false ceilings or choosing new tiles for their floors. We try to give them honest answers about what fits their space and what does not. We are not into those high-pressure sales tactics at all. It is just us talking to customers over some hot chai. The walls of our office have a few pictures of rooms we have worked on recently. It is nothing like those glossy magazines you see, just real photos of real homes. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window to keep working on the drawings.
