Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited

Our office is over in Patna, right inside the Land Development Bank Building. We are up on the third floor. If you are coming from Budh G, you’ll see the building easily enough, though finding a good spot to park your scooter can be a bit of a headache some days. It’s a busy part of town and the building itself has a lot of people coming and going for bank work, so we just blend into the background. Hindustan Steelworks Construction Limited has been operating from here for a while now. The office has big windows but the view is mostly just other rooftops and the street noise coming up from below. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, old filing cabinets, and the sound of the ceiling fans. We deal with a lot of government-related paperwork since we are an undertaking, so there is always a stack of documents waiting to be signed or filed away. The lift in the building works most of the time, but we usually just take the stairs if we aren't carrying anything heavy. It’s not a shiny corporate glass tower or anything like that. It’s just a place where we show up, do the accounting, check the project schedules, and go home. People stop by to ask directions to the bank a lot. We just point them the right way and get back to our ledgers. The coffee guy comes around at eleven.
