Grihsthi General Store

Our shop, Grihsthi General Store, is located at House No.219 on Road No.-3 in Patliputra. Being in Patna, especially this part of town, it stays quite lively most of the time. We are very close to Gouri Shankar Clinic, so if you are coming for a check-up or something, you probably passed us already. We keep all the basic household things people need. It’s not a huge place, but it serves the families living in the nearby houses well enough. The road can be a bit narrow at times with the cars parked along the side, but we manage. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. Some days are slow, and some days everyone seems to need sugar or oil at the same time. We don't really do much advertising; people just know we are here. The clinic helps people find us as a landmark if they are lost. We try to keep the shelves filled with what the locals ask for most frequently. If we don’t have something, we usually try to get it in by the next day. It is just me and a couple of others helping out behind the counter. We like the regular chat with the customers who have been coming for years. Patna is a busy place, and Road No.-3 is no different, but inside the store, it is just regular business. Nothing fancy, just the items you need to run a kitchen.
