Goutam Store

You can find Goutam Store right on Rampur Road in the Mahendru part of Patna. We are located in Musallahpur Hatt, which is a place that never really stays quiet. There are always rickshaws and people moving about. I usually get here quite early to get the shop ready before the morning rush starts. It is a general store, so we keep a bit of everything that a family might need. I spend a lot of time checking the stock, seeing what we have left of the cooking oil or the flour. The shop is a bit small, and the ceiling is low, but we fit a lot of inventory inside. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially during the summer months in Patna. I usually have a small fan going behind the counter. Most of my customers are regulars who live just around the corner or down the street. We talk about the weather or how the market prices are changing. I try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets messy when we have a big delivery of crates. It is just me or maybe one other person helping out. We do not have any fancy signs or lights. Just a simple board with the name. People know we are here. It is just a basic shop where you can get your daily items without any fuss. That is how we have always done it.
