Goraiya Bihag Foundation

The Goraiya Bihag Foundation is rooted in Tetrawan village. We operate from the house of Tanuja Devi in the Tola-Tetrawan area. It is a very local setup, right in the heart of our panchayat and block. Being a foundation in a village like this means we are close to the people we see every day. We don't have a big office building; we just work from where we are. It’s a quiet life here in Bihar, but there is always something to do for the community. We started this because we wanted to have a formal way to help out around the village. It’s mostly about local matters and helping neighbors when they have questions or need a bit of guidance. The name Goraiya Bihag is something that felt right for our roots. We aren't some big NGO from a city with lots of funding. We are just a group of people from Tetrawan who care about what happens in our own backyard. Sometimes we meet under the trees or in a small room to discuss what needs to be done next. There isn't a lot of paperwork, but we try to keep things organized. It’s slow work sometimes, but it’s meaningful to us. Our address is just a house in the village, but everyone around here knows where it is. We keep it simple and focus on the small things that matter to the families living in this corner of the block.
